I have a simple mission – to provide expert, compassionate GI care and to guide you on lifestyle and dietary interventions for better digestive health. To my previous patients, I am so glad you found me! Thank you for the trust and support over the past seven years. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as your gastroenterologist. I am taking a brief pause from full-time practice to smell the roses, savor the tastes, ride the waves and enjoy the slopes with my family. About Dr. Eimile Dalton

Education & training

Dr. Dalton graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, with a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology and a minor in romance languages. She received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She completed her Internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she received the Internal Medicine Clinical Wards Teaching Award in 2013. Dr. Dalton then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

CERTIFICATIONS, MEMBERSHIPS, RECOGNITION

Dr. Dalton has presented at national GI conferences and has been published in recognized medical journals. She is board-certified in internal medicine and in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation (CCFA), and the Texas Society for Gastroenterology & Endoscopy (TSGE). She has been recognized multiple times amongst her peers as one of Texas Monthly Super Docs. She has an interest in colon cancer screening, GERD, and autoimmune conditions affecting the gut, such as inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, and eosinophilic esophagitis.

PERSONAL

Dr. Dalton is married with two children. While most of her free time is dedicated to her family, she does find time for yoga, cycling, skiing, traveling, and being with friends and family. Dr. Dalton focuses on listening intently to her patients and taking a holistic approach to health. The practice of gastroenterology is both an art and a science, and she loves how it allows her to connect with people to individualize treatment and dietary plans to improve overall gut health.
